Bill Rieflin, drummer with a long list of collaborations including King Crimson, REM, Nine Inch Nails and Ministry has passed away at age 59.
The news were broke by Robert Fripp on his facebook page where he stated: “A call from Tracy Rieflin in Seattle. Bill Rieflin flew from this world c. 18.50 Pacific, 18.50 UK. Tracy told Toyah and me that the day was grey, and as Bill flew away the clouds opened, and the skies were blue for about fifteen minutes. Fly well, Brother Bill! My life is immeasurably richer for knowing you.”
Bill Rieflin joined King Crimson in 2013 and he appeared in the subsequent live albums the band released until 2018. The official cause of death has not yet been released but many of his friends are stating that he was battling cancer.

Η ζωή μου είναι ανυπολόγιστα πλουσιότερη που σε γνώρισα.”
O Bill Rieflin εντάχθηκε στους King Crimson το 2013 και ήταν μέλος της μπάντας για τα live album που ακολούθησαν μέχρι το 2018. Τα αίτια του θανάτου του δεν έχουν γίνει επισήμως γνωστά, αλλά πολλοί από τους φίλους του δηλώνουν στα social media πως έδινε μάχη με τον καρκίνο.
