Legendary Le Studio in Quebec in ashes

The already derelict, yet legendary, Le Studio in Quebec was completely destroyed by fire on August, 11th. Built in 1972 by André Perry, Nick Blagona and Yaël Brandeis was dabbed as Rush’s Abbey Road (since they recorded there seven of their albums) but also just as famous artists and bands chose it, like David Bowie, The Police, Queensrÿche, Asia, Rainbow, The Cult, Nazareth among others. The cause of the fire remains to be determined. Geddy Lee stated that it was already sad to know that the studio that played a key role in gaining recording experience was derelict but the fact that it is destroyed by fire marks the end an age for the three of them (the Rush members).
