Pain of Salvation announced their return with a new studio album titled Panther on August 28 via InsideOut Music. The follow-up to 2017’s In the Passing Light of Day was recorded, mixed and produced by Daniel Gildenlöw with Daniel Bergstrand (In Flames, Meshuggah, Devin Townsend) and comes with a comprehensive artwork-theme with illustrations made by André Meister.
Daniel Gildenlöw comments about Panther: “The making of Panther has taken over two years. I have felt the need to push boundaries, both musically and sonically. Approaching the music from more diverse angles, yet without losing the core identity of the band. Lyrically it coincidently fits more than ever into current times. When I look at the great artwork drawings that went into the concept, I can only say that I am extremely happy how everything turned out. I can’t wait to share this album with everybody.”

Οι Pain of Salvation ανακοίνωσαν την επιστροφή τους με το νέο studio album τους με τίτλο Panther που θα κυκλοφορήσει στις 25 Αυγούστου από την InsideOut Music. Ο διάδοχος δίσκος του In the Passing Light of Day (2017) έγινε σε ηχογράφηση, μίξη και παραγωγή του Daniel Gildenlöw και του Daniel Bergstrand (In Flames, Meshuggah, Devin Townsend), ενώ το artwork επιμελήθηκε ο André Meister.
Ο Daniel Gildenlöw σχολιάζει για το Panther: “Η δημιουργία του Panther έγινε μέσα σε δύο χρόνια. Ένιωσα την ανάγκη να πιέσω τα όρια, τόσο μουσικά όσο και ηχητικά, προσεγγίζοντας τη μουσική από διάφορες γωνίες, χωρίς να χάνεται ο πυρήνας της ταυτότητας της μπάντας. Στιχουργικά συμπίπτει συμπτωματικά με όσα ζούμε σήμερα. Όταν κοιτάζω τις εκπληκτικές ζωγραφιές του artwork μπορώ να πω ότι είμαι πάρα πολύ χαρούμενος με τον πώς έγιναν όλα. Δεν βλέπω την ώρα να μοιραστώ αυτό το album με όλο τον κόσμο.”
