We may have given the image of a diverse group, including people with a huge variety of music tastes -something which is certainly true- but there are also cases where our choices coincide. This was partly due to our recent poll on the discography of Can. Besides, the presence of Caligula’s Horse’s In Contact in 7 lists would be enough to win the thumbnail photo for this month easily, and the same goes for Threshold’s Legends of the Shires or Leprous’ Malina (6 times each), but here we have overcome ourselves. Our record to date was 11 appearances of an album (in a total of 26 editors), and this happened in January 2016 with D. Bowie’s Blackstar, quite rightly, of course, not only because it was a great album. Well, The Tower by Motorpsycho is on 14 lists (in a total of 26) this month! Let’s see who will break this one…

Μπορεί να έχουμε δώσει την εικόνα μιας πολυσυλλεκτικής ομάδας με ποικίλα ακούσματα -κάτι το οποίο εν πολλοίς ισχύει βέβαια- αλλά υπάρχουν και περιπτώσεις που τα ακούσματά μας ταυτίζονται σε μεγάλο βαθμό. Σε κάποιο βαθμό αυτό οφείλεται στο πρόσφατο αφιέρωμά μας στους Can. Επίσης, η παρουσία του In Contact των Caligula ‘s Horse σε 7 λίστες παλιότερα θα ήταν αρκετή για να κερδίσουν τη thumbnail photo για αυτό το μήνα και μάλιστα με άνεση και το ίδιο ισχύει για το Legends of the Shires των Threshold ή το Μalina των Leprous (από 6 φορές), αλλά εδώ ξεπεράσαμε κατά πολύ τον εαυτό μας. Το ρεκόρ μας μέχρι σήμερα ήταν 11 κοινές παρουσίες σε σύνολο 26 συντακτών και αυτό έγινε τον Ιανουάριο του 2016 με το Blackstar του D. Bowie, απόλυτα δικαιολογημένα βέβαια, όχι μόνο γιατί ήταν ένα εξαιρετικό album. Το Τhe Tower των Motorpsycho βρίσκεται στη λίστα 14 από τους 26 μας αυτό το μήνα και αποτελεί μαζί με πολλά άλλα κρυμμένα καλούδια βασική μας πρόταση προς ακρόαση. Καλό μήνα σε όλους!
