Season of Mist unveiled “Following the Voice”, the opening song of the forthcoming sophomore album of Canadian prog metal band Anciients entitled ‘Voice of the Void’, which will be released on October 14th.
The release note from the band’s bandcamp page: “ANCIIENTS return with their long-awaited sophomore album ‘Voice of the Void’. A heavier and harder-hitting album than their debut, ‘Voice of the Void’ raises their game with mind-melting, frenetic guitar work and a more explosive percussive attack. Tracks such “Serpents”, “Pentacle”, “Incantations”, and more are prismatic; bursting with heavy riffs in every shade and color without sacrificing the quartets heavy rock roots. Η Season of Mist έδωσε στη δημοσιότητα το κομμάτι “Following the Voice”, που θα ανοίγει το επερχόμενο δεύτερο album των Καναδών prog metallers Anciients. Ο τίτλος του album είναι ‘Voice of the Void’ και θα κυκλοφορήσει στις 14 Οκτωβρίου.
Η ανακοίνωση στην ιστοσελίδα της μπάντας στο bandcamp αναφέρει: “Οι ANCIIENTS επιστρέφουν με το πουαναμενόμενο δεύτερο album ‘Voice of the Void’. Πιο σκληρό από το ντεμπούτο, το ‘Voice of the Void’ ανεβάζει τον πήχη με φρενήρεις κιθάρες και πιο εκρηκτικά επιθετικά κρουστά. Κομμάτια όπως τα “Serpents”, “Pentacle”, “Incantations” και άλλα είναι πρισματικά, γεμάτα με heavy riffs σε κάθε απόχρωση και χρώμα, χωρίς να θυσιάζονται οι heavy rock ρίζες του κουαρτέτου.
