German prog rock legends Eloy are back with a bold concept album entitled The Vision, The Sword and the Pyre. The album, which is going to be released on August 25th, is the first part of a double concept album that looks at the life of the French heroine Joan Of Arc. Eloy mainman Frank Bornmenann has translated a French musical and recorded it with Eloy. The album also features Canadian singer Alice Merton in the lead role as Joan, whilst German blues artist Jessy Martens also makes an appearance.
Οι Γερμανοί θρύλοι του progressive rock Eloy επιστρέφουν στη δισκογραφία στις 25 Αυγούστου με τον δίσκο “The Vision, The Sword and the Pyre”. Ο δίσκος είναι το πρώτο μέρος ενός διπλού concept άλμπουμ που αφορά την ιστορία της Ιωάννας της Λωραίνης. Ο Frank Bornmenn μετέφρασε ένα γαλλικό μιούζικαλ και το ηχογράφησε με τους Eloy. Στο δίσκο συμμετέχουν η Καναδή τραγουδίστρια Alice Merton στο ρόλο της Ιωάννας της Λωραίνης και η Γερμανίδα μπλουζίστρια Jessy Martens.
