Dream The Electric Sleep announced that they will be releasing their third album entitled Beneath The Dark Wide Sky. It will be released on July 22 through Mutiny Records and it was produced by Nick Raskulinecz.
Guitarist and vocalist Matt Page says: “We decided we needed help realising the vision we had for the new album. The songs were different enough from our earlier material that we felt they needed a new treatment and a fresh set of ears to help pull out the strengths and tighten up the ambiguities of each song. We contacted several producers we wanted to work with, and sent them the demos. We were thrilled to learn Nick Raskulinecz was interested in working with us. We went to Nashville to meet him and jam at Rock Falcon Studio and had a blast. There was a real chemistry between all of us and we knew we’d found our guy.”

Οι Dream The Electric Sleep ανακοίνωσαν την κυκλοφορία του τρίτου δίσκου τους με τίτλο “Beneath The Dark Wide Sky”. Το άλμπουμ θα κυκλοφορήσει στις 22 Ιουλίου από την Mutiny Records με την παραγωγή να την έχει επιμεληθεί ο Nick Raskulinecz.
O κιθαρίστας και τραγουδιστής της μπάντας Matt Page, σχολιάζει: “Αποφασίσαμε ότι χρειαζόμαστε βοήθεια για να πραγματοποιήσουμε το όραμα που είχαμε για το καινούριο άλμπουμ. Τα τραγούδια είναι αρκετά διαφορετικά από το υλικό του πρώτου και νιώθαμε ότι χρειάζονται διαφορετική μεταχείριση και φρέσκα αφτιά για να τονίσουν τα δυνατά σημεία κάθε κομματιού. Επικοινωνήσαμε με πολλούς παραγωγούς που θέλαμε να συνεργαστούμε και στείλαμε και demo. Ενθουσιαστήκαμε όταν μάθαμε ότι ο Nick Raskulinecz ενδιαφέρθηκε να δουλέψει μαζί μας. Πήγαμε στο Nashville για να τον γνωρίζουμε και να παίξουμε στο Rock Falcon Studio και περάσαμε πολύ καλά. Η χημεία μεταξύ μας ήταν πολύ καλή και ξέραμε αμέσως ότι βρήκαμε αυτό που ψάχναμε.”
